Cena was listed as the betting odds favorite for the 2025 men’s Elimination Chamber match earlier this week.However, plans could be changing due to the return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated the following…“I know that there’s definitely people not happy with the way they had a game plan and the game plan completely changed this last week. But it’s probably only changing for a couple of people. I guess we’ll find out Saturday if they change from Cody vs. Cena, and I don’t know where he [The Rock] fits in.” (quote courtesy of Cultaholic.com)Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda.com, who correctly reported that Chelsea Green was slated to win the women’s United States tournament, noted on Patreon that Drew McIntyre is now penciled in to be victorious in the men’s chamber match. There has been internet speculation about McIntyre potentially being aligned with Rock and for what it’s worth, McIntyre recently praised Rock in an interview with ITRWrestling.com…“He’s always been a supporter of mine from my first run. I remember seeing his ex, Mrs Dany Garcia that he works with at such a high level, and she’d said such positive words when I was about 22-23 years old on a plane about how highly they thought of me, which was very cool. The Rock’s always had an eye out for me ever since back then, with TMZ positive comments in 2017 when I really wasn’t doing anything to suggest that I was the next guy.
