Last updated: February 10th, 2025 at 17:14 UTC+01:00 Samsung hasn’t released the One UI 7.0 update to its older devices yet. While the company has been beta-testing One UI 7.0 on the Galaxy S24 series for over two months, it doesn’t seem like a stable update is coming this week, as the company has just released the February 2025 security update to the Galaxy S24 in Korea.
So, what is the quickest way to experience One UI 7.0?The fastest way to access One UI 7.0 is to buy a Galaxy S25 series smartphone. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are the first (and only) phones (right now) to run the stable version of Android 15-based One UI 7.0. Samsung has launched them in most countries worldwide, and you can buy them right now.The Galaxy S24 series will be the next in line to get the stable One UI 7.0 update. However, considering that Samsung has just released the February 2025 security patch to the Galaxy S24 series in South Korea, it likely won’t release the stable One UI 7.0 update this week.
Last week, it was reported that Samsung would release the fourth One UI 7.0 beta update to the Galaxy S24 soon to fix display calibration bugs. So, realistically speaking, we are at least 1-2 weeks away from the stable release. And this is just for the Galaxy S24 series. If you have an older Galaxy S or Galaxy Z series device, expect to wait for at least a few weeks to get the stable One UI 7.0 update. And if you are using a Galaxy A, Galaxy C, Galaxy F, or Galaxy M series phone, you are potentially looking at at least a couple of months before you can use One UI 7.0.
