The ‘Marvel Rivals’ Season 1 Highest And Lowest Hero Win Rates – Forbes
Marvel RivalsMarvel Rivals season 1 is now in full swing, and we are getting a more full picture of which characters are now performing well, and which are…not, after a series of nerfs and buffs from NetEase to start the season.Courtesy of the stat-tracking Rivalsmeta.com, we have the latest numbers in, and it has some surprises on it, certainly, especially in relation to recent tier lists that may not reflect reality. Here is the breakdown of the highest and lowest win percentages in Competitive Mode across all tiers:Marvel RivalsSo, a few stories here. Hela and Hawkeye, hit with big nerfs, are way less good than they used to be with Hawkeye being an incredibly low win-rate character. He, Jeff and Black Widow are sort of in a tier of their own, and Black Widow especially, terrible in season zero, has not been buffed nearly enough to change her narrative. Conversely, the previously awful Storm is now a clear #1 after significant buffs.Highest pick rate here is Invisible Woman at a whopping 55%, given how new she is (though Mr. Fantastic is just at 22% with far more DPS options). The lowest pick rate is of course, Black Widow, though followed closely by Iron Fist. Highest ban rate is Hulk with 41.99%, lowest is Scarlet Witch with 0.07%.Briefly looking at the wildly different Quickplay numbers, Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman have a very funny 72.68% and 68.47% win rate. The lowest in the mode are Magneto, Black Widow, Loki, Mantis and Jeff. Mantis? Really? Other top picks in competitive like Peni Park are low at 38.94% win rate. Of course once you get into Quickplay, you can easily have a good character be sunk by a bad team, so I wouldn’t read too much into these. This is not a guide for “who to pick” as above all else, it’s about creating good team synergy. Though funnily enough, if you picked the top six win rate heroes in competitive, you’d have two healers, Rocket and Mantis, two tanks, Peni and Thor and two DPS Magik and Storm.I’m currently playing…whoever I want, because it’s Quickplay, so long as I’m not totally tanking my team comp. That actually means playing less healers than I used to because everyone wants to play Invisible Woman right now.
