The Jets ripped away their safety net with Aaron Rodgers breakup – New York Post

The Jets on Thursday made a move that, for weeks, we’ve known was coming when they announced that they’re parting ways with Aaron Rodgers. Though expected, the maneuver was a bold one on the part of the newly hired regime — head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey — because they’re now walking a tightrope without a safety net. Glenn and Mougey inherited a roster that’s hardly bare, one that has enough talent that it should be ready to compete in 2025 … except for one minor issue: They don’t have a starting quarterback. Unless you count injury-prone journeyman Tyrod Taylor as the answer. Advertisement
