First get the scoop on upcoming games from Capcom Spotlight, then tune in to the Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase for all the latest info! Both events will have subtitles available in 13 languages!”With the Switch 2 Direct taking place on 2nd April and the new system’s launch scheduled for some time in 2025, it could be a very exciting year for Nintendo fans on the Capcom front.Followed by a hands-on tourOkami and Onimusha are paving the waySwitch 2 release when?Gotta draw the line somewhereWhat sort of announcements would you like to see from Capcom in 2025? Especially with this happening the day before the rumored next one. What the heck are the fighting collection segments gonna cover? Especially Marvel: You can’t add more characters to Marvel 2… right?@Zeebor15 Fighting Collection 2 doesn’t have a release date yet and the Marvel vs. Capcom collection is scheduled for release on Xbox in 2025.Mega Man 12 and Marvel vs Capcom 5Now that Nintendo has officially revealed the Switch 2, I do wonder if 3rd party companies will bite the bullet and just announce their games for the new console. Or would they still wait until the info Direct on April 2nd?Re-releases, remakes, and ROM dumps. Let’s goooooo!!!@Axecon They’re most likely contractually bound not to discuss their games for the console until a certain point. With the current trends of remastering the old games for Switch and other current consoles, I wonder if we can get remastered version of Megaman Powered Up from PSP version or Airu de Puzzle game.Hoping for something Mega man. It’s been too long since Mega man 11. Heck I’ll take Mega man X9. Resident Evil should be about due for a new one as well.@Lizuka I also want a new Ace Attorney, but they’ve already stated everything they’re going to show in this presentation, and they tend to stick to that.@LastFootnote Right, it was more a general statement about what Capcom has that I’m interested in than expectations for this. This show’ll probably be a skip for me because the only announced thing I care about at all is a release date for the fighting collection.MEGA MAN 12 MEGA MAN 12 MEGA MAN 12I’m ready for Capcom to at least announce a Mega Man Legends Collection. I’ll also take Mega Man 12 or a something else new, but a Legends Collection would really do it for me…..Buuut it’s not gonna happen here, so in a Nintendo Direct would be nice.Only care about Wilds right now, still can’t tell if I’ll like the game or not…also wondering if Nintendo will announce the game for Switch 2. (I doubt Capcom will do it here if it’s a thing)@Zeebor15 my guess, an actual release date for the Xbox version of Marvel vs Capcom Collection.Other than that, I look forward to see what new updates they might have for Street Fighter 6. I might be asking too much for a surprise game announcement. 🤔Why are you all talking about RE, AA, MM, etc?Isn’t the showcase only showing these games AND ONLY THESE GAMES?@Lizuka when is the next rumored Nintendo Direct for Switch 1 games? And source plz?@SillyG This would still work on the tune of Gypsies, tramps and Thieves! 🤔😂As much as I like Capcom as a company for the most part, these showcases of theirs are always GENERATIONALLY bad, to the point I’ve made it a life goal to never tune in to a single one of them ever again. Y’all complaining about a Nintendo Direct being “mediocre” or “mid” haven’t experienced jack-all until you’ve sat through an E3 conference where the final announcement is advertising Street Fighter V E-sports for 15 minutes💀💀💀@Anti-Matter I would love if Capcom brought back Powered Up and Maverick Hunter.@anoyonmus That’s how I read it too! This will only lead to unnecessary disappointment. But a gamer can dream!@Erigen
Get ready for the big Resident Evil Zero Remake unveil. Crossing my fingers for a PSVR2 ‘VR Mode’ tagged at the end of the trailer. There’s also been rumours about RE6, and i think RE4, RE5 & even Remake and the original Zero getting PS5 upgrades.120fps, 4K, and possibly DualSense Gyro Aiming(with a motion sensitivity slider dial.) for RE4, that would be cool, but it’s still going to feel like absolutely nothing compared to playing RE4 in VR on Quest 3.Remake & Zero need at least 60fps, 1440p+ and the option to skip those irritating loading doors. They were super unique and did wonders at building suspense back in the 96′ with the PS1 original. But they’re just annoying now. They make back tracking a royal pain in the butt. Either way, i most likely wouldn’t spend more than 15 minutes with those upgraded ports. I’ve already done it. Increasing the res’, frame rate etc is enough to suck me back in.Also, give me Mega Man 12 pretty please.@garfreek precisely.I hope some refreshing new games. My hope is for Capcom to announce a Breath of Fire Anniversary Collection. C’mon Capcom why you don’t celebrate Breath of Fire’s 30th anniversary?I was hoping we’d see some different IPs that we don’t usually see.@Serpenterror that would be amazing. They really should.@garfreek : You have given me a lot to think about. 😂@anoyonmus yeah I don’t know what people are going on about. They break their own hearts. Can’t wait Capcom remains one of my favourite devs! Fingers crossed for MH:Wilds on Switch 2!Come on Capcom, bring on Resident Evil 9 and Megaman Legends 3! At least trailers announcing they’ll be coming at some point. And now that the Switch 2 has been revealed, it would be nice if they also announce a lot of support, promising games like the whole RE and Devil May Cry series, Monster Hunter Wilds and Dragon’s Dogma 2. That would be fantastic!I want a Megaman metroidvaniaMegaman X9 please and thank you.idk why people are still expecting Capcom to announce anything in these, every single one of these showcases so far was just them talking about already announced games and it will be the same this time, people are just getting their hopes up for no reasonThat’s some exciting news! Crazy Taxi full collection on Switch, please!Capcom, make that happen and I’ll give you 11/10 and you know how much this is worth Don’t think I’ll watch it as I doubt there will be much if any Switch and/or Switch 2 news considering the games mentioned apart from a release date for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (and if there is Nintendo Life will inevitably report it anyway) – regardless, hope those watching this will enjoy it!”We hope you like Resident Evil….coz you’re gonna be rebuying all the past games again via PS5, Series X and Switch 2 versions!”If there’s no auto modellista, un squadron or killer 7 then I’m not interested.@Grumblevolcano @shonenjump86 Oh right, i forgot that was an entire rhing because Phil deprecated the MT Framework engine or something like that.@Sylamp yeah as much as i dream of seeing a Mega man legends(plus tron bonne) legacy collection or Breath of fire collection it feels those kinds of things are more often announced via nintendo direct (similar to the konami collections)As someone who is outside of the Monster Hunter fandom, how many games and expansions are there? I feel like EVERY Nintendo Direct has some new MH news.Megaman 12 please, but not like 11. I want another 9. 8- bit and perfect in every way. Maybe to please everyone. Go the route where you can switch 8-bit and 3d graphics with the press of a button.I don’t expect MH to go to Switch 2, but it would be nice.@Axecon pretty sure they have to wait. All we’ve heard is companies say they will support Switch 2. I suspect many AAA companies will have their own ‘direct’ shortly after the Nintendo one in April.I would love a new mega man game but I never even picked up 11 because it just felt weird in the demo. So I’ll just wait and see.power stone 3?Excellent, hope we get a release date for Fighting Collection 2. Also looking forward to the new Onimusha, always enjoyed that series.Don’t care about the game mentioned above. Haha. How about Symphony of the Night on Switch? RE9? Megaman Legends news?@Truegamer79 If Mega Man doesn’t get a new game, I’m going to 100% Mega Man X7@AmanPikon Good game! I know it got alot of hate but i still liked most of it. Pretty annoying sometimes though. BURN BURN BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND! 😉 Show CommentsLeave A CommentHold on there, you need to login to post a comment…Steam Deck Sales Business As Usual For Valve During Week Of Switch 2 RevealUpdate: Sales chart “updated” by ValveNintendo Expands Switch Online’s SNES Library With Three More TitlesIncluding a special Super Famicom release…Xbox Is “Really Looking Forward” To Supporting Switch 2Phil Spencer: “We love the work that we do with Nintendo”New-Look Donkey Kong Items Now Available On The My Nintendo Store”You’ll go bananas for this”Opinion: My Daughter Made Me Realise That Mario Wonder’s Difficulty Options Need WorkYoshi or Nabbit, make your choiceFeatured Games 10News Square Enix Revives Super Mario RPG Soundtrack With Three New Music Products 48Rumour Switch 2 Game Cases Might Take Up More Space On Your Shelf 52News Nintendo Expands Switch Online’s N64 Library With Namco Classic ‘Ridge Racer 64’ 42Rumour Another Xbox Game Could Be Racing Onto Switch 2, It’s Claimed 7News ‘Techno Banter’ Is A First-Person Bouncer Simulator All About Keeping The Party GoingGuide 69 Games You Should Pick Up In Nintendo’s ‘Supercharge’ eShop Sale (Nort…News Steam Deck Sales Business As Usual For Valve During Week Of Switch 2 RevealNews Nintendo Expands Switch Online’s SNES Library With Three More TitlesNews Xbox Is “Really Looking Forward” To Supporting Switch 2News New-Look Donkey Kong Items Now Available On The My Nintendo StoreOpinion My Daughter Made Me Realise That Mario Wonder’s Difficulty Options Need …Random Local Supermarket Wins Trademark Battle Against NintendoNews Digital Foundry Digs Into Switch 2’s 4K Upscaling Potential As Patents I…Review ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom In The Mist (Switch) – An Incredibly Polished, Dow…News Bananas Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Platforming Problem Is Ruining Th…Popular Right NowShow More Join 1,505,175 people following Nintendo Life:© 2025 Hookshot Media, partner of IGN Entertainment | Hosted by 44 Bytes | AdChoices | Do Not Sell My Personal Information
