You’ll play music, take calls, and help local townsfolk say goodbye to those they love.As bleak as that sounds, it’s also kind of lovely – and I’ll be giving it a whirl.AdvertMarvel Rivals is a free-to-play game that’s seen immense success. If puzzle escape games are more your vibe, you may enjoy PEXIT 8, a spin-off of the Penguin Hotel series. The goal here is simple: you need to escape from an endlessly looping hallway and you have eight chances to do so.Advert“A mixture of cuteness and fear” awaits and, uh, “penguins are after you”.My fellow Brits may remember a game show by the name of Hole in the Wall. Well, Fit-Right-In is essentially that but a game.In this title, you’ll have to squeeze through a series of varied shaped holes as walls zoom towards you.Any card battler fans? I hear a couple of cheers. You’ll want to direct your attention towards Gear Games’ Arcane Rush.“Construct your deck, summon formidable allies, and partake in strategic clashes against adversaries hailing from every corner of the realm,” teases the synopsis. There are plenty of heroes to choose from, plus the game already boasts a ‘Positive’ review accolade on Steam. Finally, there’s Sacrifices, a god game meets city builder. In this one, you’ll assume the role of a leader of a mesoamerican village. Unsurprisingly, it’s your job to expand the village and help encourage its development all whilst dealing with the perils of jungle life. You can seemingly punish your villagers for their insolence so I’m imagining that’s where the title comes in. It looks pretty fun, I must admit. Like a jungle-ified Cult of the Lamb. All of the above titles are available right now on Steam for free.Topics: Steam, PC, Free Games, Indie GamesAdvertAdvertAdvert
