Star Wars KOTOR 1 and 2 are free on the Epic Games Store mobile app – Video Games Chronicle

Players can claim a free mobile game through the app every monthThe latest free games on the Epic Games Store mobile app have been announced.The mobile versions of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords can both be claimed for free between now and March 20.The Epic Games Store mobile app launched last year, and is available on Android worldwide and on iOS in the European Union.Last month Epic launched the mobile version of its Free Games program, which has proven popular in the PC version of the Epic Games Store.While the PC version of the Free Games program gives away a free game every week, the deal is currently monthly on the mobile store, with plans to make it weekly later in the year.Last month’s free games were Dungeons of the Endless: Apogee and Bloons TD 6, but these have now been replaced with the two Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games.As with the Free Games program on the PC version of the store, any Free Games claimed through the mobile version of the Epic Games Store are free to keep indefinitely.For now, the iOS version of the Epic Games Store is only available in the European Union, meaning users in the US, UK, Canada and everywhere else in the world are currently blocked from accessing it due to Apple‘s rules on third-party app stores.Last year the Epic Games Store’s general manager Steve Allison said he hopes to expand the store to all regions eventually.“Over the next couple of years, hopefully we’ll be available worldwide on iOS,” he explained. “And we’re continue to work with alternative stores worldwide that offer developers great terms.”We sometimes publish affiliate links on VGC.
