Here we have the WH-1000XM5 noise-canceling headphones. One might think some product manage at Sony was having a hectic day and mistakenly filled out the field on some form with not the product name but with its SKU number. Honestly though? It kind of rocks.Good noise-cancellation is a deal-breaker on any premium pair of over-the-ear headphones, and Sony has delivered here. Powered by two processors and eight microphones, the WH-1000XM5 are able to reverse the soundwaves coming from exterior noise in your surrounding so they cancel each other out.What your left with in your ear is the soundwaves produced by your favorite music or the podcast you’ve queued up. When taking calls hands-free, the built-in microphones are able to isolate your voice even in noisy environments. You come across crystal clear to everyone else listening in on the other end.
The soft, synthetic leather feels comfortable, allowing you to wear the the lightweight WH-1000XM5 all day long. I don’t even mean that as a figure of speech. The impressive 30 hour battery life will carry you from the day’s start well passed the day’s end. If you ever find yourself having forgotten to charge them, you have nothing to worry about.
