‘SNL 50’ Adds Alec Baldwin, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Leslie Jones, Lin-Manuel Miranda and More to Lineup – Variety

Another set of guest stars has been added to the lineup of the “Saturday Night Live” anniversary special.
Alec Baldwin, Ana Gasteyer, Billy Crystal, Cher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Leslie Jones, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mike Myers, Miles Teller, Rachel Dratch and Reverend Al Sharpton will all make appearances in the special, with more surprise guests to be revealed on-air.
Baldwin was an expected guest as the record-holder for most times hosting “Saturday Night Live” with several additional appearances on the show playing Donald Trump and other characters. Miranda, Teller and Sharpton have all also hosted the show before, with Cher having once served as musical guest. Gasteyer, Crystal, Louis-Dreyfus, Jones, Myers and Dratch all had notable runs as cast members on the show, with Jones exiting most recently in 2019.

They join the first set of previously announced guests, which includes Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian, Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert De Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Woody Harrelson, as well as the recently announced set of “SNL” alumni including Adam Sandler, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell. It’s unclear what, exactly, these comedy greats will be doing during the Feb. 16 broadcast, but they’ll be joined by Amy Poehler, Andy Samberg, Chris Rock, Fred Armisen, Garrett Morris, Jane Curtin, Jason Sudeikis, Jimmy Fallon, Kate McKinnon, Kenan Thompson, Laraine Newman, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Pete Davidson, Seth Meyers, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Will Forte.

“SNL50: The Anniversary Special” airs on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC with a simulcast on Peacock. The special is the culmination of several months of programming celebrating the 50th season of “SNL,” which has also included the docuseries “SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night” and the documentary “Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 Years of SNL Music” as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas specials and a re-airing of the first-ever “SNL” episode.
