Sleep Token Announce Single ‘Emergence’ Alongside 2025 Album And U.S. Tour – Forbes

(Photo by Katja Ogrin/Redferns)After teasing new music over the last couple weeks, the sensational anonymous UK outfit Sleep Token has finally released ‘a new offering.’ “Emergence” is the band’s new single and their first release since their 2023 critically acclaimed LP, Take Me Back To Eden. With the release of “Emergence,” Sleep Token has also announced their forthcoming studio album, Even In Arcadia, which is set to release May 9th. The band’s upcoming fourth studio album will see them embark on a massive U.S. arena tour in support of this new era.Simply put, “Emergence” is another great offering from Sleep Token. The track doesn’t exactly see the band explore any brand new sonic territory, but rather it sees them expand on their unique blend of Djenty guitars and alternative metal aesthetics that fans have come to know them by.Like a number of Sleep Token tracks, “Emergence” is a very dynamic song. It starts off with some somber melodies and a beautiful piano layer, and it slowly begins to take flight with a hip-hop-like section which later climaxes into a satisfying Djenty breakdown.Apart from “Emergence” just being a solid single, one of the most notable sonic aspects of the song is the Saxophone solo featured towards the end. It’s hard to imagine that Sleep Token fans won’t be pleased with “Emergence,” but it’ll be interesting to see how else Sleep Token can expand and differentiate their sound on the upcoming LP.Earlier this week many U.S. venues looked as if they were teasing an imminent Sleep Token tour announcement, with some venues taking to social media to show off the band’s logo on their websites. Well it looks like all that was suspected is now true, and Sleep Token are in fact hitting the road again for a massive U.S. arena tour later this year. The band’s tour will kickoff on September 16th in Duluth, Georgia and conclude on October 11th, in Los Angeles, California.
