Shinobi: Art of Vengeance Gameplay Trailer Revealed at PlayStation State of Play – IGN

Sega and Lizardcube revealed that their new, stylish entry in the Shinobi series is titled Shinobi: Art of Vengeance as part of today’s February 2025 State of Play presentation.The surprise continuation was revealed with a gameplay-filled trailer today, showing off some of the project’s fiery 2D combat and platforming. This latest project from the team behind Streets of Rage 4 is expected to launch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on August 29, 2025. In addition to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, you’ll be able to play Shinobi: Art of Vengeance on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S. Today’s reveal marks a triumphant return as Lizardcube nails down a late-summer release date with a fresh, uninterrupted look at how its gameplay is shaping up. Included in this updated take on a classic action series are sneak peeks at just a few of the more than a dozen stages to visit as well as some of Joe’s updated tools.Those who have patiently waited for updates from Sega and Lizardcube will be happy to know that Shinboi: Art of Vengeance will cost $29.99 and is now available to pre-order for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S. Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch will be made available at an unspecified point in the future.
