Filed under:Meet the new Ricky.Ricky Starks showed up in NXT just one week ago, saying he was coming to turn the place upside down. This came all of one day after word got out that he was finally finished up with AEW. They promoted his first big appearance by saying he would “tell the absolute truth” before signing his contract with WWE to become a full time member of the NXT roster. That’s not exactly what happened, or at least not the kind of truth many were likely looking for.Instead, he just said NXT is amazing and this is where the revolution begins. He plans to main event of NXT PLE, win the title, so on and so forth. It was the usual hype promo, with his “absolute truth” being that he is “the man in NXT.”Sure.He was interrupted by the likes of Ethan Page and then Wes Lee but you almost couldn’t help but notice they weren’t actually using his name.
