I guess Japan just didn’t think you guys were ready for a cute anime girl RPG until now.AdvertIf you have always wanted to get stuck into the series but didn’t want to take a risk on buying a game you might not like, then I have great news.A demo for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is now available on all platforms, and by the sounds of things it includes a pretty hefty chunk of the game.If you’re still not convinced after playing through it however, then I have even better news; the reviews for this one are already out, and it sounds like it’s not half bad.74% of critics on OpenCritic currently recommend the game, and the Metacritic score for it is currently averaging out at around 80 on all platforms.AdvertEither way, give the demo a try for yourselves and see if you’re a fan. Personally I’ve never actually played a single Atelier game, but that’s mostly because I’m terrified that I’ll end up liking them and then having to add another 25 games to my backlog.Still, I might give this one a go just to see.
