On Monday, a day after Censori showed up to the red carpet wearing a see-through dress with nothing underneath, rumors swirled that the couple had gotten kicked out of the awards show. Those rumors were swiftly debunked, but not before former CNN news anchor Don Lemon got dragged into it all.In a now-deleted post from Monday, Ye shared a blurry photo of Lemon, accusing him of starting the rumor about him and Censori being removed from the event. “This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies [sic],” Ye wrote before hurling a racial slur at Lemon.It’s unclear why Ye believed Lemon was the pot-stirrer — Lemon was reporting live from the Grammys on Sunday night and actually posted a video saying that Ye’s team denied that he’d gotten kicked out. Later on Monday, Lemon responded to Ye’s post in an Instagram video titled “My response to Ye.” “I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys,” he said. “I actually corrected it … so first of all, get your shit straight.” Lemon also volleyed the same racial slur back at Ye, laughing that “that ‘Make America Great Again’ hat must be too tight on your head.”A post shared by Don Lemon (@donlemonofficial)As of Tuesday morning, the only post on Ye’s feed is a photo of “THE INVISIBLE DRESS” — presumably the piece Censori wore on Sunday night — laying flat on a white surface.
