Nikki Glaser To Return As Golden Globes Host In 2026 – Deadline

By Peter White Executive Editor, Television
It’s official: Nikki Glaser will be back to host the Golden Globes next year.
The comedian will front the 83rd iteration of the TV and film awards, which will take place in January 2026 and air on CBS.
Glaser was the first woman to ever host the Globes solo and went down a treat with viewers. She scored the gig after her star turn on Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady, telling Deadline before the awards ceremony that the roast slot got her on “some important people’s radar”.
During January’s ceremony, she walked the line between gentle roast and tribute.

“Some of you may know me as a stand up comedian and from my appearances on roasts but I am not here to roast you tonight. I want you to know that. And how could I really? You’re all so famous, so talented, so powerful, you could really do anything. Well, except tell the country who to vote for,” she joked on stage.
Deadline understands that the FBoy Island host, who recently wrapped up her stand-up tour The Good Girl and is now on her Alive and Unwell tour, signed a three-year deal to host the Globes. She is believed to have been paid just over $400,000 for the job and that fee will rise “significantly” after being asked back. “I’ll get more next year,” she told Howard Stern after the show.

“Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career,” said Glaser. “I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from The White Lotus who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in Season Four as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.”
Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the annual Golden Globes, which are owned by Deadline’s parent company PMC and Todd Boehly’s Eldrige. Last month, it emerged that the Globes would no longer pay a $75,000 salary to its legacy voting members, a decision that impacted around 50 people.
