All other bouts scheduled for three rounds.Prelim Results | Official Scorecards | Watch on ESPN+Andre Petroski pushed his winning streak to three with a hard-fought decision win over Brazilian jiu jitsu ace Rodolfo Vieira. The Philadelphia native did a tremendous job forcing Vieira to engage with him on the feet, stuffing numerous takedown attempts and getting the better of the striking exchanges in the first and third.Petroski did a particularly good job of attacking the lead leg of the Brazilian, taking his plant leg out from underneath him while mixing in solid boxing down the stretch to salt away the win.A semifinalist on Season 29 of The Ultimate Fighter, Petroski is now 8-2 in the UFC. He’s done well to bolster his conditioning throughout his 10-fight run, and used his time on the mic after the victory to once again call out Bo Nickal. | Prelim Results | Official ScorecardsA head kick in the late stages of the opening round brought the all-action bout between Nazim Sadykhov and Ismael Bonfim to an anticlimactic close between the first and second rounds.Bonfim started well, showing the powerful striking that has defined the early stages of his UFC career, but Sadykhov slowly warmed his way into the contest, connecting with a question mark kick just as the Brazilian dipped low, catching him across the eyes. Sadykhov tried to find the finish before the horn, but was unable to get there, only for the doctor to wave off the contest when Bonfim said he couldn’t see when in his corner following the round. It’s not the ending Sadykhov was searching for, but “The Black Wolf” is now unbeaten in his last 11 bouts, including going 3-0-1 to begin his UFC tenure. After a year on the sidelines, this was an outstanding showing against a dangerous opponent for the promising lightweight, who should get an opportunity to take a solid step forward following this one. | Prelim Results | Official ScorecardsAll it took was one big shot for Edmen Shahbazyan to get himself back into the win column. After just over a minute of action where both he and Dylan Budka pawed at one another, trying to find their range, Shahbazyan connected with a pull right that landed flush and shook the equilibrium of “The Mindless Hulk.” As Budka spilled to the floor, Shahbazyan pounced, hammering out the finish. The first-round finish sets the 27-year-old DWCS alum moving in the right direction again and gives him three stoppage wins in his last five outings. “The Golden Boy” remains an entertaining mainstay in the middleweight division, and it will be interesting to see if he’ll be able to string together a couple more quality efforts like this to work his way back into the Top 15. | Prelim Results | Official ScorecardsYoussef Zalal secured the biggest win of his professional career on Saturday, surviving a competitive battle with Top 10 stalwart Calvin Kattar to earn his fourth straight UFC victory.Zalal used his speed, boxing, and movement to get out to an early lead against Kattar, picking him apart at range over the first 10 minutes. Spurred on by his corner ahead of the third, the veteran from Massachusetts came out more aggressive and had a great deal of success, forcing Zalal to constantly circle to open space and try to run out the clock. When the scorecards were added up, it was “The Moroccan Devil” that indeed came away with the victory. While not as dynamic as his trio of victories last year in his return to the Octagon, this was still an outstanding victory to the 27-year-old Factory X representative, who continues to impress each time out. | Prelim Results | Official ScorecardsJared Cannonier and Gregory Rodrigues engaged in a wildly entertaining back-and-forth to close out Saturday’s fight card, with Cannonier weathering the storm to secure a fourth-round stoppage win.“Robocop” started like he was shot out of a cannon, taking the fight to the former title challenger and dropping him twice in the opening frame. Cannonier rebounded in the second, finding his range and connecting with big shots of his own. After running level for much of the third, Cannonier dropped Rodrigues late in the frame, blasting him with a short elbow in tight before cranking up the intensity at the outset of the fourth, putting the Brazilian away. This was an outstanding bounce-back effort for the “Level 40” middleweight, who had to deal with some rough patches in order to get himself back into the win column. Rodrigues deserves full marks for pushing Cannonier and having several positive moments in his first main event opportunity, but the night ultimately belonged to “Tha Killa Gorilla.” | Prelim Results | Official ScorecardsDon’t miss a moment of UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs Rodrigues, live from UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 15, 2025.
