Kanye West Targeted Jewish Yeezy Staffer by Taunting Her and Praising Hitler: Lawsuit – Rolling Stone

Kanye West has been sued by a former Yeezy staffer, who claims the rapper frequently referred to himself as Hitler and a Nazi, targeted her because she’s Jewish, sent her pornographic materials and insulted her looks when he was upset.
The woman, who is suing under a Jane Doe pseudonym, claims that her six-month stint working for West was a chaotic whirlwind, ending with her abrupt dismissal when she reported West’s offensive behavior to her manager.
Doe’s 33-page lawsuit lists 12 causes of action against West, including whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment. She is seeking damages to be determined at a jury trial. (A rep for West did not immediately reply to a request for comment.)
“Now what you gonna do,” West allegedly texted Doe in June 2024 after firing off a stream of taunting texts where he called her an “ugly ass fuck,” among other degrading remarks. “Come ‘destroy me bitch.’ Hail Hitler,” West added. Doe claims she was fired the next day.
Doe says she joined West’s team as a marketing specialist in December 2023, around the time West publicly apologized for making a series of antisemitic comments in fall 2022. But that apology was “short lived,” according to the 33-page lawsuit obtained by Rolling Stone.
“Unable to control his prejudice, [West] rewarded Plaintiff with the same antisemitic vitriol he recently condemned to the public,” the lawsuit claims. “[West] carried out a calculated campaign to threaten and psychologically torment Jewish people around him, specifically Plaintiff.”
The lawsuit comes as West is amid yet another public crash, first showing up to the Grammys with his wife Bianca Censori, who posed fully nude on the red carpet. Then over the weekend, West went on a non-stop tweeting spree that led to his X account being deactivated. West openly called himself a Nazi, began selling a swastika T-shirt on his website, defended Sean “Diddy” Combs for physically abusing his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and posted several pornographic videos to the platform, among several other offensive posts.

Pointing to West’s promotion in the leadup to his upcoming album Bully, Doe’s lawyers call the title appropriate. “[West] is a bully with tens of millions of followers on social media, with children and adults who watch and listen to him,” the lawsuit says. “He is a bully who is still able to run nationwide commercials on major platforms, appear at respected award shows, and galvanize his fanbase. He uses his social media platforms to bully anyone who disagrees with him, spew hate speech only to disingenuously apologize for it repeatedly when he wants to promote his music, concerts or merchandise.”
Less than a month after West issued his public apology for his antisemitic comments, Doe claims she received an alarming text from him in January 2024. The musician was still facing backlash for the rollout for the imagery of Vultures 1, and Doe suggested releasing an additional statement further denouncing any ties to Hitler or Nazism. “I am a Nazi,” came West’s alleged reply in all caps.
Despite receiving a promotion and raise in February 2024, Doe claims she was abruptly fired in late March after bringing West a “high profile creative business opportunity.” However, West was apparently offended the offer didn’t include full creative control over the project. “Don’t present me nothing ever in life that I don’t have creative control over,” West allegedly texted Doe through his manager.
Doe claims that a few days later, West’s chief of staff offered her a job back and doubled her annual salary to $240,000. The staffer allegedly told Doe to “get used to” West firing and rehiring team members. (In November 2022, Rolling Stone spoke with nearly two dozen former Yeezy collaborators and staffers, who claimed West cultivated a toxic and “abusive” work environment where someone could be fired for simply liking Drake.)

In June 2024, West suddenly had a meltdown, Doe alleges. He “belligerently texted Plaintiff, along with other persons of Jewish descent: ‘What The Fuck Is Everyone Here Getting Paid?,” the lawsuit claims. “Shortly after, Ye texted – “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler.”
West then allegedly went on a tirade against Doe, “verbally and publicly berat[ing] her,” the lawsuit claims, both in a group text message and directly to her.
“Shut the fuck up bitch,” West allegedly texted her, according to screenshots included in the lawsuit. “You ugly ass fuck … You stupid ass corny bitch … You a 4 after all the makeup … Your clothes are trash. Your hair is trash. Now sue me you corny ass bitch.”
Doe forwarded some of the messages to her manager and the next morning, Doe claims she received a termination email from West’s lawyer.
“Ye waged a relentless and deliberate campaign of antisemitism and misogyny against my client,” Doe’s attorney, Carney Shegerian of Shegerian & Associates, said in a statement. “His appalling treatment of women and fixation on Nazism, evident in abusive texts where he repeatedly calls himself Hitler, expose his motives. We need to stop excusing Ye’s behavior. As a father, husband, and employer, he must be held accountable. Ye dared my client to sue, and we will see him in court.”We want to hear it.
