BOTELHO | The National News DeskTOPICS:LOS ANGELES (TNND) — Just a few days after Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, stunned everyone on the red carpet at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, the rapper revealed he was diagnosed with autism. The 47-year-old rapper shared the news during a one-on-one interview on Justin Laboy’s podcast “The Download,” which was published Tuesday. He said he learned more about his health after Censori encouraged him to see a doctor — one he claimed worked with Justin Bieber — and learned he was previously misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder. He went on to say that autism “takes you on to a ‘Rainman’ thing, where you’re like, ‘Oh, man. I’m going to wear this Trump hat because I just like Trump in general, and then when people tell you not to do it, you just get on that one point. And that’s my problem when fans tell me to do my album a certain way. I’ll do it the opposite way.” He added that he stopped taking medication for bipolar disorder as soon as he found out about the misdiagnosis.West, who legally changed his name to Ye, also spoke about the reason behind the name change. He said it’s been a nickname since he was in seventh grade. He and Censori turned heads Sunday night during the Grammys, as Censori wore a transparent dress that left nothing to the imagination. Censori is known for causing a stir with her sheer street style.At the Grammys, she dropped her dark fur coat to reveal her exposed backside to the flash of cameras.West later took to social media to express his love for her.
