These satellites also maintain their role in Starlink’s internet services, ensuring every launch enhances both internet and cellular communication.Starting January 27, 2025, SpaceX will conduct beta testing for its DTC-enabled Starlink satellites under a temporary authority license. The beta phase, involving partner carriers worldwide, aims to refine the technology and lay the groundwork for a full-scale operational system.
