Part 1 of Fire Country‘s Chezem Valley fire storyline was punctuated by frightful, technically impressive, full-screen imagery of flames consuming the valley where Eve’s father’s ranch was situated. Characters would standing in the foreground to survey the fire-ravaged forest spanning the horizon.

The first Fire Country rerun scheduled to air after that fateful Jan. 7 “outbreak” in California was bumped, and ahead of the winter premiere, cast members from Fire Country and other CBS programs appeared in a series of PSAs hailing the heroic, real-life first responders, and calling for donations to Red Cross assistance efforts.Part 2 of Fire Country‘s Chezem Valley fire storyline was not quite as vivid with the harrowing visuals, though there was still fire aplenty for most of the hour. Bode and “I can’t swim” Audrey survived their swimming pool plunge, after a water drop doused the fire all around them. They then appropriated a tractor to return to base, where Audrey reluctantly tapped out to receive needed medical attention. Realizing that Manny had gone AWOL to search for Gabriela (who was last seen storming away from Jake, into the fiery valley), Sharon grabbed Vince and ferociously steered a truck through the flaming woods, to find the father and daughter. Manny found Gabriela, who had tripped and gotten tangled in a barbed wire fence, twisting her ankle. They found brief refuge in an abandoned camp site’s cement bathroom, where Gabriela finally and fully vented to her father, about how he wasn’t there for her, but was sentenced to fire camp, after her wedding went sideways.

Sharon and Vince hit a ditch and cracked their truck’s axle, but Vince sounded the truck’s alarm to successfully lead Manny and Gabriela to their location. Alas, the four of them had no means to travel out of harm’s way — until Bode, Jake, Eve and her father galloped up on a quartet of horses, to carry them back to the ranch. Manny and Gabriela reconciled. Eve and her dad reconciled. Vince put up with Sharon’s driving. Jake successfully took over for Vince and helped Bode and Eve save the ranch, in large part thanks to Eve getting an idea to tap into the irrigation system after the rig ran dry. And Bode and Audrey? Well, Bode went to the hospital, flowers in hand, leading to what even a random passerby had to note was an “awkward!” run-in with Gabriela, who assumed he was there to see her. But no, Bode proceeded to Audrey’s room, and she was clearly touched by his dorkily romantic gesture. Perhaps even more so, though, she was irked that she missed out on horse riding! One final twist awaited viewers, though, when back at the firehouse, Vince’s dad Walter showed up, in full uniform — to attend Bode’s graduation. Which… was weeks ago, of course. Walter was in no mood to be corrected, though, and clearly is on track for some sort of dementia arc. What did you think of Fire Country‘s midseason premiere?Want scoop on Fire Country, or for any other TV show? ΔAnother crazy, insane episode. Just the way I like it.The episode was really well done . I hope the Brody and Gabriela arc is done. She is insufferable. I like Brody and Audrey as they have good chemistry.Yeah sadly it’s far from done. They’re gonna keep doing this stupid dance over and over, and over again forever. It’s sadly become the main focus of the show. I miss season one when this show was about CalFire.Well if you don’t like the dance don’t go dancing. If the California fire fighters are like these guys no wonder so much property burned. Just a bunch of goof offs.Loved this episode! One of my favorites! It’s just like 911. Only the focus is firefighters.I think the show was great. I love fire country.
It makes you feel like you’re didn’t into the real drama of these families. That’s what I’d like to about it it’s realI’ve been a fan of the show since it first came on we will continue to watchBody sucks. You mean Bode? Why does he “suck”? Gabriela stomped all over his heart then expects him to come running back. He has moved on (I hope!)OK I’m done with this show. After being lied to about fairy tale like unbreakable love between Bode and Gabby their moving on for really weird reasons has me turned off completely. This is just too much. There are plenty of other shows to watch.Bye. It’s a TV show. Her dad did not want her with him. She broke up with him. He ain’t waiting around forever. See ya!Over their break, I had forgotten how much I disliked Gabriela. She dumps Bode, then soon goes to marry another guy, running out on him and ruining his life, then blames it all on her dad, who has been bending over backward to show he cares. Then she goes on a drinking binge, and turns into a s**t. And blames this on dad too. And then she puts not only 4 peoples’ lives in danger, but then 4 more people and 4 horses! Seven firefighters that could have been actually fighting the fires. All to save this brat who unexplainably ran INTO the fire because of WHY? I hope she goes away forever. On the other hand, one minute the fire is out of control, and the next minute it is contained. I saw so much ridiculousness with the actual firefighting that I can’t even list it all. The best part was Eve and her Daddy getting back together. I like this show, but this episode was dumb.Didn’t get to see Fire Country on Friday because there was a plane crash in Philadelphia in Northeast section and every station was broadcasting on the plane crash can you please show fire country again for the people who didn’t have the opportunity to watch itIt’s on the cbs.com site and appIt is available to watch on cbs.comIt wasn’t on in my area. Have to catch up on CBSI love Fire Country, but I didn’t watch last night because in ny own personal feelings about the fires in LA, I felt it wasn’t the right time. I’m sure it was a great episode. It was a good episode. I was hoping Bode and Gabriela could have become an item, but she keeps pushing people away. Maybe the storyline with Audrey will work out better. When Bode saw her in the hospital it seemed like there was something between them. 🙂When it’s Friday night the average TV viewer wants to sit down, relax, and be entertained. And Fire Country finally hit a home run to start 2025’s episodes, highlighted by the the great pyrotechnics on display, lots of action, and positive interactions–finally-among its lead characters. Wonder of wonders, things ended on the upbeat for a change. In closing it’s time for the writers to give Gabby a break. Her character has breen given nothing bu negativity all season long. How about Gabby, Audrey, Eve, and possibly Sharon bonding and showing us some women’s power in future episodes as a change of pace.Love Fire Country but Bode and Gabby need to be together.By providing your information, you agree to our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
