Last updated: March 6th, 2025 at 10:09 UTC+01:00 Today, Samsung was supposed to release the One UI 7.0 beta update to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, it released the March 2025 security update instead. Now, the company has released the same security update for the Galaxy S24 series.
Galaxy S24 gets March 2025 security update in Korea
A new security update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra is now available in South Korea. It comes with firmware version S92xNKSS5AYB1 and has a download size of around 280MB. It brings the March 2025 security patch that fixes multiple security flaws that were discovered in the previous months.
This could be the last software update before the stable One UI 7.0 update is released to the Galaxy S24 series.
South Korean Galaxy S24 series users can check for the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update » Download and install on their phones. Once the new firmware is available in our database, they can download the appropriate firmware file from there and flash it manually as an alternate option.
This update could be released to the Galaxy S24 series in other countries in the next few days.
Samsung has already released four One UI 7.0 beta updates to Galaxy S24 phones that are registered in the One UI 7.0 Beta Program. The program is expected to end sometime next month, and the stable One UI 7.0 update will be released before the end of April 2025.
