See the first new card from Magic’s next Standard set and moreOn the eve of MagicCon: Chicago, attendees at the Black Lotus VIP event were given an exclusive look at art for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering set, Tarkir: Dragonstorm, as well as the first new card from the set — Narset, Jeskai Waymaster!Shared to the magicTCG subreddit by King_Gex, Narset, Jeskai Waymaster is the first new card shown from Tarkir: Dragonstorm, but certainly won’t be the last this weekend, as upcoming panels at MagicCon: Chicago promise to reveal much more about the highly-anticipated set. Despite missing her planeswalker spark, Narset hasn’t slowed down one bit, and continues to guide the Jeskai clan on Tarkir. At a glance, Narset, Jeskai Waymaster has a respectable statline and feels like a solid Commander or general addition to decks that care about casting multiple spells each turn. And, as an added nostalgic bonus, clan symbols on text boxes have returned!A recurring trend that seems to be here to stay, images of the Commander Preconstructed decks have been listed early on some retailer websites.
