‘Fire in the sky’ spotted over Wisconsin – WKOW

Dana Fulton is the 27 News Wake Up Wisconsin meteorologist, forecasting weekday mornings from 4:30-7 a.m. She brings more than a decade of newsroom experience to WKOW, including working as the Chief Meteorologist at WACH during the historic landfall of Hurricane Matthew.  MADISON (WKOW) – Dozens of photos and videos captured a bright falling object in the sky Tuesday night.At about 9 p.m., fiery debris was spotted in the western sky for almost a minute.After reviewing the footage and looking into meteor reports, the debris was likely space junk, possibly a Starlink satellite scheduled for re-entry.We’ll continue to monitor information and will provide updates on the debris if necessary.Dana Fulton is the 27 News Wake Up Wisconsin meteorologist, forecasting weekday mornings from 4:30-7 a.m. She brings more than a decade of newsroom experience to WKOW, including working as the Chief Meteorologist at WACH during the historic landfall of Hurricane Matthew.
