Evidence For A Persona 4 Remake Is Mounting Up Thanks To Singer Shihoko Hirata – TheGamer

Eagle-eyed Persona fans have found some surprisingly convincing evidence that a Persona 4 remake is in the works, and it’s mostly thanks to singer Shihoko Hirata.Although almost every Persona fan is sitting waiting patiently for Persona 6 to finally be announced after years of teases and rumours, that’s far from the only thing happening in the series. For a while now, insiders have suggested that multiple Persona projects are in the works at Atlus, including a few remakes of classic games.Shin Megami Tensei could accomplish so much more with older characters. That rumour has been going around for a few years now, but after the announcement and subsequent massive success of Persona 3 Reload, it seems inevitable that we’ll get more. Although Persona 3 was a strange place to start with, fans have been convinced for a while now that it’ll be followed up by a Persona 4 remake. While it seems that we’re a long ways off from that project being confirmed by Sega, there is some convincing evidence that something is in the works. Over on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, Redditor Trem45 shared a detailed breakdown from Twitter user rudiger__tw, who highlights a few suspicious goings-on.The Twitter user notes that singer Shihoka Hirata, known for her vocals on Persona 4, has recently revealed that she’s recording for an unannounced project. Her teases include photos from MIT Studio in Tokyo, which can be seen in the Persona 5 Strikers making-of documentary and is where most Persona soundtracks have been recorded in the past.As pointed out by rudiger_tw, if the game being teased isn’t a Sega project, it’d be the first of its kind recorded in MIT Studio 2 in years. That’s already some mounting evidence, but rudiger__tw also pointed out that Hirata has been liking replies to her posts that include references to Persona 4. While it could just be the singer showing appreciation to fans who want to see it return, it’s hard to deny that the evidence is there for the project potentially being a Persona 4 remake. In Amazon’s hands, James Bond can never be the cultural powerhouse he was as an independent star.We want to hear from you!
