Dragon Age: The Veilguard Patch 5 Released & Fully Detailed – DSOGaming
BioWare has released Title Update 5 for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.Patch 5 brings one QoL improvement a number of bug fixes. This new update adds recommended levels to side quests that players may receive at significantly lower levels. Now let’s take a look at the bug fixes. Update 5 fixes an issue where Rook could only flirt with Lucanis in a specific conversation. It also fixes a blocking issue with a puzzle in the Converged City area of the Crossroads. Plus, it fixes a spot on Rivain’s beach where Rook could get stuck in a cycle of drowning, never to be pulled out of the water by their companions. And that’s not all. Patch 5 fixes a problem where the Objective Marker Visibility wouldn’t update when changing the exploration preset with other options in the Exploration menu. It also fixes a bug that caused the fireflies in the opening area of the Crossroads to flicker too much on certain settings. Additionally, it solves an issue that stopped some Rooks from changing the runes on their lyrium dagger. Lastly, it fixes excessive clipping on Taash’s “Rivain’s Legacy” armor.A few days ago, EA revealed that it was disappointed by the game’s sales. According to the publisher, this new Dragon Age reached 1.5 million players. The key point here is the word “reach”. This means that it was played by 1.5 million players. It does not mean that it has sold 1.5 million units. So, a lot of gamers most likely played it via Game Pass.Rumor has it that EA may close BioWare Edmonton. If this does happen, we don’t really know what will happen with Veilguard. Will another studio handle its post-launch support? Or will there be no other updates for it?Anyway, like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client.
