Immediate preorder!Having both Capcom Vs. SNK games on one cartridge is a gift. ❤️Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 was one of my Gamecube fighting games and I liked it.Just so y’all know, May 16th, 2025 is the date when y’all could actually pre-order the physical collection, not the date when the physical collection actually released. Capcom had not announced the actual released date for the physical version yet, just the digital one.Gimme gimme gimme! 🤩what was that showcase and here I thought xbox and sony gave bad ones….but that will interrupt Doom.I’ll probably pick it up at some point. Really should actually get the first, I’ve got the MvC one but kind of just kept putting off actually buying the first set.@Serpenterror hmmmmm? physical is releasing May 16 2025….Super amped for Capcom Fighting Collection 2! Might actually preorder for once just to show Capcom emphatic support for both the Power Stone & Project Justice (Rival Schools) series. Would love new modern entries for both of those on Switch too/2!Having some Street Alpha & Capcom vs SNK games in the collection just sweeten the pot also in their own right for me. Awesome variety of classic games all around. Loved the Dreamcast era. Finally power stone!!! Now I just need that awesome Zelda 2 remaster…Power. Stone.Oh yeah!Cannot wait for this. CvS2 might be my fav crossover game.@LikelySatan well DOOM The Dark Ages ain’t coming to Switch 1 so its okay. Also Xbox One and PS4 ain’t getting this either.Yep, getting this just for the Capcom vs. SNK games. The rest is a bonus for me.It’s 3.9 GBs, for those who want to download it via eshop. Now if only Activision could do something similar and remaster + package the X-Men Mutant Academy & Next Dimension games.Could even include Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style as a random bonus perhaps as well like Punisher in the Marvel vs. Capcom Collection. Pipe dreams, I know.Power Stone is the reason I want to buy it! @anoyonmus Yeah my wallet just weeps. I’ll be getting both, probably multiple copies of the fighting collection. My own foibles or something. I’m kidding anyway. Can’t wait.@wuntyme8 Shaolin Style would be awesome. Finally! CVS2 and Burn! Justice Academy are my highlights. Also, another FG/FGs collection that only I will play here, lol.About time they did a collection with the Street Fighter EX games in!@Clyde_Radcliffe think the relationship with Akira ended rather poorly.Ex fighting layer is on the switch and has a free 2 play version which has a handful of characters, the full version has most of the roster of street fighter ex characters that didn’t belong to Capcom + Terry because he’s in everythingHow do you preorder in the UK?Capcom VS. SNK 2 EO was one of my favourite GameCube games back when. Can’t wait to replay it and explore some games I’ve never played before! Do we know yet if this will be physical in Europe, or just the US and Japan like the Marvel collection? The only Switch news I did expect from this Capcom Spotlight, but obviously a welcome one regardless – will definitely get it myself (along with the first one finally) when I can!I think I’m going to wait for the cart version this time😁I had this game pre-ordered just for Power Stone 2 alone since it’s one of my favorite games of all time. But I had to cancel it when I heard it was the arcade version and not the console version. Which means it won’t have the Item Shop to combine and get new items and Power Stone 2 is admittedly pretty bare bones without it.I wish they would just port or remaster Power Stone Collection so it’s not stuck on the PSP/Vita anymore. I don’t know why they haven’t done that yet.So, what historical artifact are they gonna artistically butcher this time? The strange thing is that Plasma Sword in the collection is the Dreamcast version, since the original ran on Sony’s Playstation-based arcade hardware and Capcom couldn’t be bothered creating a PS1 emulator. However, most of the other games are the Sega NAOMI arcade versions, and not their superior DC ports.Still find it annoying these are not proper hard releases. Would love a box set of fighting 1+2 + beat em upThe only thing I wish they would include (and given previous collections, they probably won’t) is the ability for winners to change characters in offline matches. When I play friends at fighting games, we always like to pick someone new just to shake things up– we trust each other not to spam or cheat. Barriers to that should only be enforced online, says I.But who am I kidding? There’s so much in this collection to crow about that I probably won’t miss it. 😎@PKDuckman Yeah, that struck me as weird too. I’m guessing… that they’re guessing… that if anyone has nostalgia for Plasma Sword, it’s on the Dreamcast. But it seems like unnecessary fuss to just rip the options menu and other modes out of a console version.I’m still stoked for this anthology. I’m over the moon about playing Power Stone the first again, which is the purest and most fun arena fighter I can think of to this day, barring SSBM. But I do wish they’d packed in the console versions of every dang one of these. Taito did it with G Darius HD, and I’m pretty sure they have less cash coming in than Capcom.@JohnnyMind Don’t bother yourself with buying CAPCOM FIGHTING COLLECTION (1), it almost doesn’t worth any money. The only worthy game there is War-Zard.Other games in the collection are CPS-II inferior versions.@Vyacheslav333 Will still get it, but only at a bigger discount then. Thanks for telling me!Getting this for Power Stone (aka 3D Smash Bros) and CvS2 alone…the rest are just icing on the cake.Anyone looking to preorder the physical copy should double and triple check beforehand whether it ends up being a code in a box.Looking forward to this collection. The Dreamcast had some great fighting games courtesy of Capcom. Here’ hoping the physical copies actually have a card in them.This. THIS is how you compile retro games. What an absolute ripper of a line-up. Such warm Dreamcast vibes I’m in love before I’ve even seen a trailer. Those folks behind the recent Taito and Neo Geo comps need to take note.@Samalik oh murrrrder. How dramatic. “Welp I guess I’m just a virtuous person who akshewly cares about art and censorship.” There, I responded for you too.@Vyacheslav333 What?!? The first collection has the Darkstalkers games on it, crazy.
