Body Language Expert Decodes Meghan Markle’s Gestures on Her New Netflix Show – PureWow

Royal fans can’t stop buzzing about Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, and I can see why. Who doesn’t love a charming, inspirational series about a duchess entertaining her nearest and dearest friends while sharing tidbits about her personal life? And as a bonus, viewers get to learn unique cooking tips and tricks. (Who knew adding sparkling water to scrambled eggs would make them more fluffy?) But perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the show is her body language, which says quite a lot.Body language expert and human lie detector Darren Stanton analyzed the royal’s gestures on the show and made a few key observations, noting that she is “much more open” and “confident.” Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, he said, “She is reconnecting with the positive aspects of her life. Meghan is coming across as very confident. Similarly to how Harry has his projects—like the Invictus Games—she is excited to reconnect with her own creativity again.” He continued, “Sometimes you can pick up a lot from the verbal beyond the words they are actually saying. This insight she is giving people into her life and friendships shows we are dealing with a much more open and confident Meghan. These clips show someone rediscovering their own independence and their own identity.”Stanton also noted that Markle’s genuine passion shined through as she engaged with guests, adding, “You can tell through Meghan’s gestures and body language in the show that she is genuinely enjoying herself and feels passionate about the project. Her face is completely engaged in a lot of the clips, and she displays plenty of open-palm gestures, which tells me that she is being completely authentic…There were a lot of big hugs with friends who came on the show. This further demonstrates her openness and her confidence.”As for Markle’s comments to Mindy Kaling on her royal title, Stanton said this proves she is proud of her royal connection. In case you’ve yet to see the episode, the brief exchange occurs when Kaling says, “People wouldn’t believe that Meghan Markle ate at Jack in the Box.” Then, Markle responds, “It’s so funny, too, that you keep saying Meghan Markle. You know I’m Sussex now. You have kids and you go, ‘No, I share my name with my children.’ I didn’t know how meaningful that would be to me, but it just means so much to go, this is our family name, our little family name.”Stanton observed, “There was a flash of surprise from Mindy Kaling when Meghan corrected her about the name from Markle to Sussex. It shows pride in her relationship with Harry, but also her accepting and being completely open to her royal status. Meghan is clearly proud to be a part of the family.
