AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT & RX 9070 GPUs Listed On A Danish Retailer, Getting Stocked On 23rd January – Wccftech
AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT & RX 9070 GPUs hit Danish retailer, revealing placeholder prices & their availability as “In-stock”. Geizhals also revealed an AORUS RX 9070 XT edition with specs such as a PCI-E 4.0 interface and 16 GB GDDR6 memory.It seems that the recent rumors about the Radeon RX 9070 GPU launch are true. The cards are now being listed by various retailers, not only revealing their specifications but also their supposed availability date. We heard from a recent report that AMD is going to unveil the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs on 22nd January.The official retail launch is said to be two days later and the review samples have already been shipped to the reviewers. Surprisingly, a Danish retailer has revealed some information regarding the launch date (via @momomo_us). While earlier today, the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 were listed as “In-Stock” for their availability status, it has now changed to 23rd January 2025.Both GPUs are from Gigabyte, one is the Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16G and the other is the Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC 16G card. Both are identical in design but will have different specifications. The product pages show that one should expect the stock to be back on 23rd January, which means that the handful of units that were there in stock are now secured by some customers.This means that it’s likely that the GPUs might see an official retail launch on 24th January as was previously rumored. The prices mentioned on these pages once again seem to be placeholders as the RX 9070 XT is listed for 9299 DKK, which translates to US $1281. The RX 9070 is listed at 7599 DKK, roughly translating to US $1047. AMD has already confirmed in an interview that the RX 9070 cards won’t touch the $1000 price tag, and it’s unlikely that these 70-class cards, which are aiming to compete with the $549 RTX 5070, will be too expensive.No one currently has the exact MSRP of either of these cards, but it’s expected that the RX 9070 XT could retail for $479-$499 considering the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16G was listed by a retailer for $529 recently.
