AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Custom Model Listed By Retailer For $530, Specs Disclosed With Navi 48 GPU Clocked at Almost 3 GHz – Wccftech
AMD’s custom Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU has been listed by a retailer based in the Philippines for a price of around $530 US & a GPU clock of almost 3 GHz.As you might know, despite AMD not revealing the official specs and pricing for the AMD Radeon RX 9070 GPUs, its board partners have already made preparations for the reveal day, which is said to be on 22nd January. We saw several AMD board partners unveiling their own custom RX 9070 designs at CES, but none of the companies were allowed to share the specs or pricing.Several rumors and leaks have been giving out crucial information about this stuff in recent days, but we finally saw a leak, which gives out all this information in detail. Of course, there are some errors, but most of the stuff coincides with what we have been hearing recently. A Philippine retailer “Netcodex” has listed a Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16GB card for ₱35,000. Apart from the pricing and design reveal, the specs page is also filled with all the details we need to know.In the specs tab, it shows that the Radeon RX 9070 XT contains the Navi 48 XT die, which was expected. The base and boost clocks of the Gaming OC card are 2400 and 2970 MHz respectively, which means the reference edition will likely boast a lower boost clock. This also means that the rumors that suggested an up to 3.1 GHz boost clock are for premium AIB editions and not for the reference design. The VRAM on the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT “RDNA 4” GPU is 16 GB GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus and delivers around 624.1 GB/s of memory bandwidth, which means around 19.5 Gbps of memory speed. The card will have 4096 Stream Processors as we reported previously and, as per the description, the Gigabyte card runs at a TDP of 260W. However, as the card is equipped with triple 8-pin power connectors, it’s likely going to consume more, particularly when overclocked. For reliable performance, a 600 W PSU is recommended, and the card’s 260 W TDP ensures efficient power consumption. The RX 9070 XT GAMING OC is your gateway to next-generation performance, combining cutting-edge technology with Gigabyte’s renowned build quality. The specs tab does have some mistakes like these, including that the card features 2x 8-pin connectors and that it brings 3x DP 2.1 ports, despite it being clear in the images that this isn’t the case. The Gigabyte edition has 2x HDMI 2.1a and 2x DP 2.1 ports for display output and is a 2.5-slot card, which the specs tab mentions as “Dual-Slot”.Now coming to the price, the ₱35,000 price translates to US$593, which also includes 12% VAT. Excluding that, the price comes down to US$529. Hence, the reference card is likely going to launch for under $500 but remember that it is still too early to conclude this as the price is subject to change.News Sources: Netcodex, videocardzSome posts on wccftech.com may contain affiliate links.
