Actor John Goodman, a longtime New Orleans resident, reportedly lost his Los Angeles home to the ongoing wildfires that have destroyed thousands of homes. Goodman’s home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood burned down with little left, according to Jan. 8 photos obtained by People. Goodman, 72, is known for playing Dan Connor opposite his onscreen wife Roseanne Barr in the sitcom “Roseanne” and for his role in multiple movies. A St. Louis native, Goodman has been a New Orleans resident since the mid-1990s with a home in the Garden District neighborhood.Goodman sought to get away from L.A. and catch a breath from show business when he first moved to New Orleans, the city where he also met his wife Anna Beth. The wildfires have ravaged the Los Angeles area, killing at least 24 people and destroying thousands of homes. At least 150,000 in Los Angeles County remain under evacuation orders as of Monday, according to the Associated Press. Numerous other Hollywood stars have lost their L.A-area homes to the fires, including Miles Teller, Paris Hilton and Billy Crystal.
