It’s a very disingenuous article.You say Intel is up there with Nvidia and AMD at 1080P and 1440P but you’re also comparing Intel’s new generation to Nvidia/AMD’s older generation. You’re also ignoring the Intel driver problems which while vastly improved since Alchemist, still exist especially for older games.I’m not saying there aren’t any reasons to choose Intel but you need to compare like-for-like.The average customer doesn’t have $1,000 plus to just throw away. I think we should expect more here. There are problems with Intel GPUs on 1st and 2nd Gen Ryzen processors, and they are quite significant. Maybe it’s drivers, maybe it’s the hardware interface, this is TBD. Bottom line is this article is premature, was NOT thoroughly researched, and is very light on facts. In Indonesia it’s introduced at around $350 by Asrock.The issue is like that with all GPUs, take a look at NVIDIA, you won’t find any of their cards at RRP either.Reason not to buy: No VR support. I don’t know why none of the Arc write-ups ever mention this, but it matters to people that use VR or want to in the future.I’m all for a more diverse hardware landscape, and I do think Intel GPUs have the potential to establish themselves, but I would never buy or recommend one at the moment, at least not for a “production” system. Even though your amd card cost less but it would not run some games or you had to patch gpu specifically for it. I don’t think that in the world where dlss is a must for any pretty game fsr GPUs can be really competitive. Prolly u gonna be better off buying the cheapest RTX that can run the best dlss. Not quite up to DLSS but is close and much better than AMDs FSR.I love nvidia and I did ash my local computer shop as they are building me game pc now and ask about Intel and they said they will not build them as they have loads of problems with crashing so I im sticking nvidia Why not AMD?
