The “Since U Been Gone” singer missed a March 3 taping of the show, prompting the show guest that day, Marvel actor Simu Liu, to step in as the host. “Kelly isn’t able to make it today. We’re sending her our very best,” Liu said. “I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie, ‘Last Breath,’ … I’m here now, and look, I’m not one to back down from a challenge.” According to Entertainment Tonight, an unnamed source told the media outlet Clarkson has been absent due to a “sudden family emergency.” No other reasoning was given or explanation, and Clarkson has not spoken out about her absence. She has missed 10 tapings of her talk show so far. According to People, Clarkson last hosted on March 5. Singers Jason Derulo and Nora Fatehi appeared to promote a new song called “Snake.”Since then, numerous stars have filled in for Clarkson, including popular comedian and actress Wanda Sykes, musician Josh Groban, actress Brooke Shields, and comedian Roy Woods Jr. It is unclear when Clarkson could return to the show. Still, fans have begun to speculate on Instagram. The “Kelly Clarkson Show” Instagram posted an update revealing the guest hosts and guests for the week of March 17-21, and many noticed there was no guest host set for Tuesday, March 18. The same appears for Thursday, March 20, and Friday, March 21.One fan commented, “Seems like Kelly is back on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday?
