I was unresponsive for two months. Friends were thinking they were coming to see me for the last time. The doctors never expected me to speak or to walk again.”Pinfield, 63, suffered a stroke on Jan. 6 and was deemed “incompetent,” per a TMZ report. His daughter Jessica filed for conservatorship to manage his health and financial decisions over concerns his girlfriend will withdraw his money.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pinfield has been released from the ICU and is recovering in a Los Angeles rehabilitation center.Per the report, he had pneumonia and was put on a ventilator. Pinfield is a radio host at Los Angeles radio station KCSN and LA’s KLOS radio station and is also a co-host of the AXS TV show “The Power Hour.”Pinfield hit mainstream media as the host of MTV’s “120 Minutes.” In 2001, he became VP of A&R at Columbia Records.Mark Heim is a reporter for The Alabama Media Group.
