Well, the tech giant is going to fix that with its successor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
According to our friends at Galaxy Club, Samsung’s next flagship clamshell foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, will have two batteries with a rated capacity of 2,985mAh (EB-BF767ABY) and 1,189mAh (EB-BF766ABY). That will make up for a total rated capacity of 4,174mAh and a total typical capacity of 4,300mAh.
In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s two batteries have a combined rated capacity of 3,887mAh and a typical capacity of 4,000mAh. It means that the upcoming phone will have a 7.5% higher battery capacity than the existing model.
Leaks claims that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is more efficient than the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. A larger battery and a more efficient processor should result in a significantly longer battery backup.
