Here’s a closer look at Samsung’s Android XR headset and the Galaxy S25 Edge [Gallery] – 9to5Google

Following the Galaxy S25 launch in January, Samsung also showed off the Galaxy S25 Edge and its “Project Moohan” Android XR headset in person for the first time. At MWC 2025, both devices are back, and this time we were able to get a lot closer to both.Samsung said over the weekend that it would “unveil” its Android XR headset at MWC 2025, which just seems like a bad choice of words for what actually happened. Towards the back of the company’s booth, MWC 2025 was the first place that Samsung truly showed off this hardware to the public, versus the fairly contained Unpacked event a couple of months ago.While I still wasn’t able to try on the headset or touch it (check out our hands-on for impressions there), Samsung let me get a lot closer this time. This offers a few insights. The padding in the headstrap and the headset itself are more clearly visible, showing what looks to be a fairly comfortable design. I could also more clearly see the lenses inside, the buttons, and the point along the left side of the headset where you can connect to power. The more I see this headset in person, the more the design is growing on me. What do you think?“Project Moohan” is due to be more widely detailed and (hopefully) launched later this year.Due out much sooner is the Galaxy S25 Edge, which Samsung was also showing off at its booth. The ultra-thin Galaxy phone was strung up by wires, but surrounded with far less of a mob than it was at Unpacked, allowing a better look at the hardware with its new camera design, thin bezels around the display, and an interesting note that the “actual design” might vary.
