Protestors organize in Waitsfield against vice presidential visit – WCAX

WAITSFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) – Protestors against Vice President JD Vance and the Trump administration could be seen lining Route 100 in Waitsfield in front of the Mad River Green this morning.The vice president is in the Green Mountain State this weekend on a family ski holiday. The visit to Sugarbush Resort was announced earlier this week and immediately prompted calls for protests and counter-protests over divisive Trump administration policies.Copyright 2025 WCAX.
