Here’s What AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 Series Retail Listings Look Like Up Till Now; Flagship RX 9070 XT GPU Expected To See A $600-$700 Price Tag – Wccftech

Well, AMD’s RX 9070 series GPU launch is right around the corner, and it seems that multiple mainstream retailers, including Newegg and MicroCenter, are preparing for the retail launch and revealing preliminary pricing.Team Red’s RDNA 4 GPU launch is by far one of the most “discrete” ones in terms of the details around it, given that back at CES 2025, when the original unveiling was scheduled, we saw AMD giving us a surprise by not revealing specifics about the lineup. Fast-forward to almost two months, AMD is now slated to showcase the next-gen GPU series in full style, and in light of this, mainstream retailers are pushing up RDNA 4 listings on their respective platforms, giving us a glimpse of the expected pricing.Starting with the most anticipated retailer, MicroCenter, they have managed to put up around nice different listings of the RDNA 4 GPUs, and before we go into them, it is essential to note that the retail prices might be placeholder values, or at least for some of the listings. The cheapest Radeon RX 9070 XT is the ASRock Triple Fan variant, which costs $699, while the non-XT counterpart is listed for $649, revealing a slight price difference. However, an RX 9070 XT is listed for $1,100 as well, but that is likely a placeholder value.Yet again, it is important to note that nothing is official for now, and we will likely get the exact details tomorrow, which is when AMD is set to showcase the RDNA 4 lineup. Apart from MicroCenter, Newegg has put up listings as well, but in pre-built systems from iBUYPOWER and AVGPC, with the maximum configuration including the Ryzen 7 9700X and AMD’s flagship RDNA 4 GPU, going for $1,799. This includes 32 GB DDR5 memory and a 1 TB SSD.While this is just an estimate, we are likely looking at around $650-$700 for the flagship model in this particular pre-built configuration, suggesting that this figure is justified. We recently reported on how the Radeon RX 9070 XT rivals NVIDIA’s RTX 4080 at Furmark, and given that the latter model is available in the markets for $1,000+, that surely puts the GPU in the competitive spot, given that we are comparing synthetic performance for now.It will be interesting to see what kind of show Team Red puts up at the upcoming launch, but based on the hype created over the past weeks, mainstream GPU consumers are definitely in for a treat. Some posts on wccftech.com may contain affiliate links.
