Thai Retailer Doesn’t Have Any NVIDIA RTX 50 GPUs, Notifies Customers To Wait Until July – Wccftech

The NVIDIA RTX 50 GPUs are almost non-existent in the Thailand DIY market and users will probably have to wait a few months more.Yesterday, we reported that Overclockers UK will get the next batch of RTX 50 series GPUs after a few weeks, indicating the GPUs could arrive next month or in May. However, things are looking worse in some regions, including Thailand, where the hardware market seems to be lacking enough RTX 50 GPUs altogether. We can’t confirm from just one report about the availability of NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPUs, but as per the user ‘UX_thoughtful’, the DIY section of this particular retailer has no RTX 50 GPUs at all. Furthermore, he indicated that the GPU market in the country doesn’t have these GPUs, at least from what it appears from his statement: “Come to Thailand to see the market…”As per his report, the clerk of this particular store said that users will have to wait until July to be able to purchase any of the GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. Just a reminder that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 were already launched three weeks ago and the RTX 5070 Ti was launched yesterday. We haven’t approached March yet and the Thai retailer is indicating an ETA of July, which is ridiculously long. The state of the NVIDIA RTX 50 GPUs is so bad that it almost feels like the RTX 30 series launch. The reasons for the unavailability of RTX 30 GPUs were different though but for the RTX 50 series, we haven’t heard of any logical or reasonable report that could affect the supply of these GPUs. Initially, it was said that NVIDIA and the AIBs had some miscommunication, but this was mostly related to the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 launch. The RTX 5070 Ti launch proved that some unknown reasons are affecting availability. As far as the upcoming GPU launches are concerned, be prepared to see this pattern once again. However, this time, it’s said that the RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 are facing ‘bugs’, resulting in performance loss and hence up to four weeks of delays. We recommend our readers wait for the market to reach stability and not buy the GPUs at hefty price tags. It is also recommended to wait for AMD’s RDNA 4 launch, which will be held in the first week of March. Some posts on wccftech.com may contain affiliate links.
