Ricky Starks’ bad new name draws NXT’s worst numbers of 2025 – Cageside Seats

Filed under:I guess Ricky’s debut isn’t quite the “future-defining shift” that Triple H talked about one week ago.The ratings and viewership data are in for Feb. 18’s WWE NXT on The CW.According to Programming Insider, this week’s episode was watched by 689,000 viewers and drew a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. Viewership was way down from last week’s 801K, and the demo rating slightly decreased from 0.18.Former AEW star Ricky Starks’ contract signing was hyped up as one of the main attractions on this episode, especially after WWE didn’t give him a name last week during his surprise debut. He signed his bad new name Ricky Saints on the dotted line, and now his first NXT match is lined up for next Tuesday’s show. This week’s broadcast also included a surprise crossover appearance from TNA star Moose, as well as NXT’s mystery group channeling their inner RETRIBUTION.
