Nicole Kidman and husband, Keith Urban‘s home in Beverly Hills was broken into on Friday, multiple reports have confirmed.
“Officers responded to a burglary report at 8 p.m. Friday on Lime Orchard Road. Officers learned from a security guard that a burglar had smashed the glass door of the residence, ransacked the home and fled,” a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told the Los Angeles Times.
Kidman and Urban have been married since 2006 and share two daughters, Sunday and Faith. The family was not home at the time of the incident. It’s “unknown whether any items were taken,” the Los Angeles Times reported.

Their California neighborhood reportedly includes other stars like Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lawrence, Adele and Katy Perry. The Los Angeles Times reported on additional burglaries that happened in the area recently, such as French soccer player Olivier Giroud, who lost $500,000 worth of belongings earlier this month.
This awards season, Kidman has been busy promoting her erotic thriller Babygirl. In her THR December cover story, Kidman spoke about how the film was a calling for her. “My character has reached a stage where she’s got all this power, but she’s not sure who she is, what she wants, what she desires, even though she seems to have it all. And I think that’s really relatable. There are many women who are going, ‘Well, I’ve done this, I’ve got children, I’ve got this husband, and what do I actually want? Who am I and what are my desires? Do I have to pretend to be something else for people to love me?’” she said. “I think it’s very releasing, this film. I hope it is. I’ve had some people say it’s the most disturbing film they’ve ever seen, which I’m like, ‘Oh no, I’m so sorry.’”
She also noted how Urban calls her “Babygirl,” but insists that’s disconnected: “Babygirl is something that Keith has always used for me. That is separate. That stays in a separate compartment, that’s not up for public consumption.” Sign up for THR news straight to your inbox every daySign up for THR news straight to your inbox every daySubscribe for full access to The Hollywood ReporterSend us a tip using our anonymous form.
