Alice Bell, ex-wife of “Today” show weathercaster and morning TV staple Al Roker, has died. She was 77.Her death was announced by their daughter, Courtney Roker Laga, 37, via Instagram on Monday.“She was my mother, my heart, and the most loving grandmother to Sky,” Laga wrote. “I was with her for her last breath, and I will carry her love with me always.”Laga’s post included two photos of her as a child with her mom, and two more recent shots of Bell with her daughter, Sky.In the photos with Sky, Bell appears to wear a nasal cannula to provide oxygen. Her cause of death has not been revealed.Bell and Roker, 70, were married from 1984 to 1994. They first crossed paths in the early ’80s while working at New York’s WNBC, where she produced the news program “Live at Five” and Roker was a weatherman, per the New York Daily News. The beloved weatherman has yet to speak out about Bell’s passing but did not appear on Tuesday’s “Today” show broadcast. NBC meteorologist Dylan Dreyer filled in for Roker. It’s unclear if his absence was related to his ex-wife’s death.The Post reached out to representatives for Roker but did not immediately hear back.The meteorologist and Bell adopted Laga in 1987 shortly after she was born.After the couple divorced in 1994, Roker married his second wife, journalist Deborah Roberts, 64, in 1995. Roker and Roberts have two children, Leila, 26, and Nick, 22.In 2022, Laga posted a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute, honoring both Bell and Roberts. Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to the three most important women in my life: My mom Alice, my stepmother Deborah, and my mother-in-law Barbara.”Bell also reportedly has had a son, Gregory, who was born in 1970, according to the Daily Mail.In 2023, Roker and Bell became grandparents when Courtney and her husband, Wesley Laga, welcomed their first child, Sky.Last year, the NBC star and Laga, a trained chef with experience working at two Michelin-star restaurants, co-authored a cookbook titled “Al Roker’s Recipes to Live By.”Messages of condolence poured in shortly after Laga shared the news of her mother’s death.“Oh no!
