Pixel 9a leaks in official-looking renders, showing off new camera design & colors [Gallery] – 9to5Google

Google’s Pixel 9a is reportedly coming out soon, and now we’re getting the best look yet at the updated design as well as the full set of colors. Pixel 9a leaks have been hitting the web for months now, with a first look last year revealing that Google would be doing away with its iconic camera bar on this mid-range device. Now, images from Android Headlines effectively confirm that, as we’re seeing Pixel 9a from the back with the camera bar indeed removed, instead with a dual-camera module that just barely sticks out from the back of the device. The report claims the camera is “flush” with the back of the phone, but it does seem ever-so-slightly raised in the images. Those two cameras are expected to include a 48MP wide sensor and a 13MP ultrawide shooter.This leak also shows off Google’s four Pixel 9a colors, which reportedly include “Obsidian,” “Porcelain,” “Peony,” and “Iris.”Outside of the camera bar removal, Pixel 9a looks to fit in well with the rest of the Pixel 9 series. It has flat matte edges that match the base Pixel 9, implying that the backplate may end up being glossy. Previous Pixel 9a leaks have included details on pricing, the large 5,100 mAh battery, camera features, and details on a modified Tensor G4 chip.
