£22.99 Brand new physical.
Although I suppose digital does include PS4 version too@TedLassoNikes Costa coffee latte £4.40…£2.20 at the cafe down the road. Though the Costa latte comes with a choice of bean, I suppose 😁The things I keep my eyes on it are The Sims 4 DLC price. I only buy if get discounted 40% – 60%.@TedLassoNikes A great example why I dread an all digital future. People will spend more money on a game but will buy less games overall. If anyone was somehow still on the fence, Stellar Blade is fantastic. Recently platinum’d it and it was a blast from beginning to end. Superb combat, amazing visuals, excellent pacing throughout. Good replay value (multiple cosmetic items and gear variations on NG+ to collect). The Geoff’s made a mistake; This was Best Action Game of 2024, not Black Mid Wukong.@TedLassoNikes Uh, buying P3R on PS4 for £22.99 brand new physical also grants you the PS5 version as a free upgrade…@Balaam_ Black Mid Wukong is a hilarious name for it hahaha I did like Wukong but it has plenty of problems and definitely did not do anything groundbreaking14 quid for Midnight Suns is an absolute steal.@DennisReynolds it is so weird how the price fluctuates I am in the US and got it for 8 dollars just a month or two ago and it is 16 USD now according to this. either way I agree though that game was way more fun than I expected I got so many good hours out of it@Balaam_ A lot of people are not ready to have this conversation, lol. Stellar Blade is better than Wukong in almost every way.@riceNpea Difference is a latte/coffee is made and tastes different at every coffee shop@UltimateOtaku91Patience, grasshopper. The digital price will undercut the physical price eventually, even the fire-sale prices. So says my digital only PS5 with literally hundreds of games. Driving plastic discs around the planet does not ultimately secure anybody any financial savings.I have never had so many games so cheap in any previous console generation, ever. Official fact.@DennisReynolds True but it was literally a free game with a ps plus a few months ago so it’s a great option for people who didn’t get it then.Midnight Suns is fantastic but probably puts people off due to being a deck building game at the same as being a strategy gameI’m holding out for Stellar Blade. I know I won’t be able to play it any time soon as I am chipping away at a massive backlog, so by the time I buy it, it’ll probably be around $20 (and in better shape than ever). That’s one of the perks of having patience.@riceNpea I don’t fancy a digital cup of coffee though…cyberpunk 2077 ultimate : £37.69 (35% off) talos principale: £12.49 ( 50% off)Alan wake: £6.24 (75% off)Alan wake 2: £24.99 (50% off)@UltimateOtaku91 Yeah, digital is great, but it’s not a good look when Sony is charging that much more compared to physical. And when they have no competition, it’s not difficult to imagine their pricing getting worseWhatever it is Sekiro will stand strong at £29.99.@Foxhound I didn’t even think about that!No ps plus discounts this year it seems…@Dragoon1994 I play my games on the hardest difficulty, do you? I find it makes the game very different.@PsBoxSwitchOwner me neither, so I don’t bother looking at digital coffee prices 😁@Balaam_ I played the game on the hardest setting and got stuck on the final boss. It’s such a sponge! Did you play on the same setting, and if so got any tips? I’d like to finish it without dropping difficulties.@TedLassoNikes which is why I’m going to be very skeptical of getting a PS6.You need competition to keep prices down, and physical second hand is the only competition Sony has (and that is getting weaker by the year).Nintendo have shown a company can keep their game prices high when there aren’t other markets.@Dragoon1994 Physical having smaller install sizes is complete nonsense.@Dragoon1994 Um sorry WHAT. Physical does not take up less space than digital. It’s EXACTLY the same. NONE of the game runs off the disc. And for example my 1Gb download is faster than installing off the disc so wrong on both counts.@Dragoon1994 They are exactly the same size and in most cases you still have to download patches thus making modern physical games pointless@belmont Well not pointless, you have more consumer rights with the physical version. The game isn’t locked to one account for a start.@belmont Most physical releases on Switch do contain the entire vanilla game so that’s more a PlayStation issue than physical issue in general. Some DLCs I’ve had my eyes on hit some sales, so that’s cool. I’m a 100% trophy completionist so DLC sales are always helpful.Aside from that, Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is at its lowest price yet (for PS+ subscribers). Reviews on the game were mixed at best so I figured I’d wait that one out, but maybe now I’ll jump on it.Hmm I may pick up SonicAs much I would look I can no longer be bothered I now find a game and add it to my wishlist because I’m so fed up of the crapware that shows up in the store nowIf you haven’t played Midnight Suns, do it now!Disney Epic Mickey got PS4 and PS5 for £25.Got 70 to spend and have no idea what to get 😕I loved P5 (and Royal) and currently enjoying Metaphor, so grabbed P3 Reload just to keep the backlog nice and big!
