ΔI hope she understands that fame is only going to get more intense from here. If she can’t handle it with a few songs and one album, she won’t be able to have a lasting career.I think “year 1” is tough on musicians. In today’s economic reality for musicians, that first bout of success can come with a great deal of fame and notoriety, and a plethora of media/promotional requirements. It doesn’t always come with the money to facilitate that fame and those appearances. I’m sure there is some security from the label. But her current security is probably a few large gentlemen with SOME, and LIMITED, law enforcement/military background. And not the planning or high end operational kind. Basically, they are large guys whose only real value is to deter folks based on looks. She doesn’t currently have a security detail with a strength of operational planning. AKA figuring out that some appearances aren’t worth it, and how to get into and out of places without creepy fans getting up in your business.
.
Her issue, and lots of young stars today, is that fans have para-social relationships with stars. More and more “fans” today really think that if they can meet and interact with a star, they can become “close” with the star. Maybe romantically, but probably platonically. And so they try to get close.
.
Part of this is the talent, who has to realize that you have to be very careful on social media. That is a lot to learn by a star. It just is. As the money really starts to roll in for these stars, Roan will be able to afford the type of security that can insulate her from some of the craziness.god forbid an artist ask for fair treatmentThe only reason I even know who she is, is because of her constant whining about whatever crosses her mind that day. It is to the point now that it is expected. If fame is so horrible she should probably pack it up and go back to wherever she came from.As the vast majority of viewers/listeners rated the performance an ‚ÄúA‚Äù, the other, miserable people apparently had predisposed biases and most likely didn‚Äôt even watch the performance since their reactions were so polar opposite. How sad for you! Bet you‚Äôre the same people who thought your egg prices were going down, too. üôÑAll these female pop singers nowadays look like drag queens. And you truly felt it was necessary to comment on her looks? Get a life and worry about yourself. SHE’S A PERFORMER. ITS A ROLE LIKE ANS ACTOR. UGH.I bet I know exactly what you look like, Paula üòÇThey’re FABULOUS ü§©!Much deserved üôå , but applause üëè to the other nominees. A great talented group of newbies!By providing your information, you agree to our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
