His unofficial update proves that it’s possible, but now the mod is unavailable thanks to Sony taking action against it.While this shouldn’t be surprising news, the timing is quite interesting. Why has the DMCA takedown taken such a long time to happen?Some are positing that the takedown request has occurred now because the action RPG’s 10th anniversary is in March of this year, which would be an ideal time for Sony to make any Bloodborne-related announcements.After all, if people can play Bloodborne at 60 frames-per-second now, why would they bother buying, say, a remaster?It’s all just speculation of course (and likely a generous dose of hopium), but there’s definitely some logic to what fans are saying here. This place is also a vacuum not even remotely representative of the wider gaming community. Case in point, the GTA article referencing a potential split sale of the online mode. Of course, here, nobody is interested, yet GTAV is only one of the biggest games of all time thanks in large part to the online mode. Doesn’t mean Sony won’t do something with Bloodborne. They’re not deaf, but it’ll be far from a priority. Having said that, it’d be good for hardcore fan support and they desperately need a win.As for Nixxes, you could be right, though supposedly they’ve done a pretty poor job porting Spiderman 2 to the PC as it’s launched riddled with bugs, so that may or may not affect plans moving forward, but it seems they’ll need to spend some time fixing that first.@PorkChopExpress Yeah I feel with Spider-Man 2 PC they dropped the ball. It’s great, I played the hell out of it, including the dlc, but the internet has made it a neverending obsession. From software is mostly making the same type of game with only slightly different settings. Beyond that there’s no lack of great soulsborne games from other studios. I for one since then had more enjoyment with wukong, lies of p and the likes.
And it’s not like the PS4 version is unplayable or inaccessible.
