The tenuous relationship between Hurts and Sirianni was talked about going all the way back to last season. It wasn’t until the two connected during the Week 5 bye and established a new rapport that the speculation was put to rest. They were able to come together with a plan to turn things around, and went on to lead this team to an NFC Championship on the way to another Super Bowl appearance.For his part, Hurts spoke to reporters after the game and celebrated Sirianni, saying, “He’s done a great job. He’s done a great job.
