Now 28 Sun 36 Mon 37by Danielle MacKimm, KUTVTOPICS:SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Utah firefighters preparing to return home after two weeks battling wildfires in Los Angeles were treated to a rare sight Friday morning – a SpaceX Starlink rocket launching into the sky.The crew, scheduled to return to Utah on Sunday, Jan. 26, shared a video clip of the Falcon 9 rocket soaring through the sky via social media, writing, “Well, that’s one way to finish our final 24-hour shift in California.”The clip ended with a photo of the firefighters standing in front of the Pacific Ocean, with the rocket’s trail glowing above them – a perfect sendoff after many hours of tireless work.The launch took place at approximately 6:07 a.m. PT on Jan. 24 from Vandenberg Space Force Base, located between San Francisco and Los Angeles, according to SpaceX.————————————-
