Billy Ray Cyrus’ ex Firerose, who was married to the singer for seven months, shared her thoughts after his son Trace Cyrus expressed concern over his dad.Billy Ray Cyrus’ ex Firerose is sharing her perspective.The Australian singer—who married the “Achy Breaky Heart” hitmaker in October 2023 before he filed for divorce seven months later—weighed in after his son Trace Cyrus said he and his sisters were “worried” about their dad. Trace’s comments came shortly after the singer had a headline-making performance at President Donald Trump’s Liberty Ball after the Jan. 20 inauguration.”What’s being seen in public now reflects much of what I experienced in private during our relationship,” Firerose told Page Six Jan. 23. “It’s very sad to see those same struggles continue for him, but I’m glad the truth is coming to light.”The 25-year-old added that the chatter about his performance benefits “his potential good, because healing is only possible when you confront the truth and accept there’s a problem.”Firerose isn’t the only loved one to speak out following Billy Ray’s two-song set, which was riddled with technical difficulties—at one point, he said to the crowd, “Y’all want me to sing more or you want me to just get the hell off the stage?” In fact, his son Trace wrote an open letter to his father afterwards.“Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever,” the 35-year-old—who Billy Ray shares with ex-wife Tish Cyrus—began his Jan. 22 Instagram post. “I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life.
