AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 Series GPUs Expected To Launch In The Coming Week; AIB Partners Start To Hype Up The Release – Wccftech
AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 series GPUs might not be too far away from launch, as ASUS teases its upcoming TUF Gaming and PRIME AIB models in a new post.Well, Team Red’s approach to its next-gen RDNA 4 GPU lineup was certainly a surprise, given that the firm decided not to showcase the GPUs at their CES 2025 keynote, apart from releasing the slides prepared for press unveil. However, Team Red did confirm later on that the RX 9070 series GPUs are intended to be showcased at a separate event, but until now, they haven’t confirmed the release schedule. However, AIB partners like ASUS have already started to “hype up” the launch on their social handles, suggesting that a launch is indeed closer.😎 Yeni oyuncu alana giriş yapmaya hazırlanıyor… Yeni yılda oyunları yüksek grafiklerde oynayın!Yepyeni ASUS TUF Gaming ve Prime AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT ve 9070 Serisi ekran kartları hakkında daha fazla bilgi çok yakında! 👀 🤫#ASUS #ASUSTürkiye #AMDRadeon #RX9000 pic.twitter.com/UpBIkiZEoy— ASUS Türkiye (@ASUSTR) January 17, 2025While the post doesn’t specifically confirm a launch date, it does say that the RX 9070 series SKUs are “coming soon,” suggesting that we might see them debut on the markets in the coming days. Based on what we are aware of, AMD plans to launch pre-orders of the RDNA 4 GPUs by January 23rd, which is in the next week, and retail channels have already access to units of the SKUs, and they are waiting for Team Red to give the green-light, to commence the disruptive RX 9070 series launch. In terms of what to expect with the Radeon RX 9070 XT and the Radeon RX 9070 regarding pricing, it is claimed that the GPUs will launch around the $300-$1,000 price tag, which means that these models will compete against NVIDIA’s 70-class and 80-class GPU counterparts in terms of the pricing only. The exact MSRP of either of these cards is unknown for now, but it’s expected that the RX 9070 XT could retail for $500-$600 considering the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16G was listed by a retailer for $529 recently.Expect big things with the RX 9070 series launch, given that this time, AMD plans to bring in dominating perf/$ values, competing in the mainstream GPU segment. Yet again, we are expecting retailers to initiate pre-orders by 23rd January, effectively meaning that we can see an RDNA 4 standalone event in the next week.News Source: VideocardzSome posts on wccftech.com may contain affiliate links.
