Beyoncé helps LA fire relief efforts in big way – Geo News
January 13, 2025 As wildfires rage in LA, Beyoncé said she has donated $2.5 million in relief efforts through her charity foundation, BeyGOOD.Deadline reported the aid is for families who have suffered in Altadena and Pasadena and helps churches and community centres. The announcement of funds comes on the heels of the Grammy winner’s mother, Tina Knowles, losing her home in Malibu to the devastating blazes.“It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred Happy Place,” she wrote on Instagram. “Now it is gone!!”In other news, Halle Berry took to the streets to help the families affected by the deadly fires in Los Angeles.In an Instagram post, the John Wick star urged her followers to donate to the Southern California community at the COOP. She was seen handing out clothes and items to the families fleeing the blazes.“Hey everybody. I’m here with Nickey Kehoe plus the COOP. We’re out here doing what they said they would so, we’re giving back to the community. We’ve got everything you can imagine,” the X-Men actress continued.“If you don’t have a bag, come here we’ll give you a bag to take it away with. If you can’t come here send somebody on your behalf.
